Get fit and have fun at the same time with Canne de Combat. Originally developed for self-defence, French cane fighting is a dynamic art and sport combining strikes, blocks, feints and combinations. Canne is a long range art, involving stylish striking and athletic movement. The skills of Canne and Savate are sometimes combined in the form of Canne Chausson. In all free play (sparring) and in competition, padded clothing, gloves and headguards are worn.
This course is designed for adult and teenage beginners, and will introduce the skills of Canne in a safe and fun environment. You can train for fitness and coordination, improved confidence or even for competition. Over the course, we will progressively increase the variety of skills to enable you to enter our regular classes with confidence. We will also include exercises and drills to improve your fitness and coordination.
A course of 3 lessons costs £15. Email us on: enquiries@savatecambridge.uk
